Scyrox V12 Gaming Mouse Brings 8KHz Wireless Polling and a 50,000 CPI Sensor

Scyrox V12 gaming mouse is introduced, a lightweight model designed for players who want quick tracking, fast input response, and high polling rates without using a heavy mouse. The new mouse combines PixArt’s PAW NEXT I sensor with Nordic’s nRF54H20 controller and supports up to 8KHz polling in both wired and wireless modes.

The Scyrox V12 is available in two sizes, giving gamers more choice based on their hand size and grip. Both versions are built around the same core hardware, but the larger V12 L has a slightly bigger body and higher weight.

Scyrox V12 offers two lightweight sizes

The Scyrox V12 uses a high-back design and comes in V12 M and V12 L versions.

The V12 M measures 122 × 58 × 38 mm and weighs around 50 grams, with a small to medium hand size recommendation. The V12 L is larger at 126 × 60 × 40 mm and weighs about 52 grams, making it better suited to users with larger hands.

Both models use a 250mAh battery despite their different sizes.

The low weight should make the V12 easier to move quickly, which can be useful in competitive shooters and other games where players make frequent and fast mouse movements.

50,000 CPI PAW NEXT I sensor

One of the biggest features of the Scyrox V12 is its PixArt PAW NEXT I optical sensor. It supports up to 50,000 CPI and can track movement at speeds of up to 880 IPS.

Scyrox also lists acceleration of up to 80G and a sensor frame rate of 2,000 FPS. The company claims tracking accuracy of around 99.8%.

Users can fine tune the sensor as well. Resolution can be adjusted in 1 CPI steps, while the lift-off distance can be changed in 0.1 mm increments. These settings give competitive players more control over how the mouse responds to movement.

8KHz polling works wirelessly

The Scyrox V12 also stands out with its 8KHz polling rate. Unlike some gaming mice that offer their highest polling rate only through a wired connection, the V12 supports 8KHz in both wired and wireless modes.

The mouse uses Nordic’s nRF54H20 controller for its wireless and processing hardware. This allows users to keep the high polling rate while playing without a cable.

An 8KHz polling rate means the mouse can report its position up to 8,000 times per second. While the practical benefit depends on the game, system and monitor, the feature is mainly aimed at competitive players who want the lowest possible input delay.

Kailh optical switches and electromagnetic scroll wheel

For the main buttons, Scyrox has fitted the V12 with Kailh optical microswitches. The mouse also features an electromagnetic levitation scroll wheel.

The scroll wheel has a nano-microcrystalline coating, which is designed to provide a different surface feel while using the wheel.

Together with the lightweight body and high-end sensor, these features make the V12 clearly focused on competitive gaming rather than general office use.
