After that showcase footage, a lot of PC players were quietly dreading the system requirements for Gears of War: E-Day. Turns out they had nothing to worry about.
The Coalition has officially revealed the minimum and recommended specs for Gears of War: E-Day, and they’re far more forgiving than the visuals might have implied. An RTX 2060 and 12GB of RAM will get the job done at minimum. Most mid-range rigs built in the last five or six years should clear these comfortably.

The target resolution and frame rate for each tier haven’t been confirmed yet, so more granular breakdowns should arrive as the October launch approaches.

What the PC version includes
Beyond the specs, The Coalition confirmed a solid feature set. Uncapped frame rates, ultrawide support across 21:9 and 32:9, full KBM and controller remapping, 4K with HDR10, and hardware ray-traced lighting and shadows are all in. Steam Deck, Xbox Ally, and Xbox Ally X also get dedicated handheld optimisation.

Gears of War: E-Day launches 6th October 2026 on PC and Xbox.
