ASRock has announced its new Radeon RX 9050 Challenger 8GB graphics card, giving mainstream gamers and PC builders another affordable option in AMD’s latest Radeon RX 9000 series. The new model is built on the AMD RDNA 4 architecture and brings modern gaming features, improved performance, and an efficient cooling design.
The Radeon RX 9050 comes with up to 16 RDNA 4 Compute Units and third-generation ray tracing support for better lighting and visual effects in supported games. It also supports AMD HYPR-RX, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), and other AMD gaming technologies that help improve performance and deliver smoother gameplay.
ASRock has equipped the Radeon RX 9050 Challenger 8GB with a boost clock of up to 2600 MHz and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The card also supports PCI Express 5.0 and DisplayPort 2.1a, making it ready for modern gaming systems and high-resolution displays.
To keep temperatures under control, ASRock has added a new dual-fan cooling system with its Striped Axial Fan design and Ultra-fit Heatpipe technology. The card also includes a metal backplate for extra strength, while premium Super Alloy components help provide stable performance during long gaming sessions. A built-in LED accent gives the graphics card a clean and modern look.

The ASRock Radeon RX 9050 Challenger 8GB graphics card will be available for retail customers and system integrators across Latin America and the Asia Pacific region. Pricing and the exact release date have not yet been announced.
