Rebel Wolves has confirmed the Blood of Dawnwalker Road to Launch showcase, and it’s arriving sooner than you might expect, on 28 April 2026. The 45-minute event will finally pull back the curtain on the game’s release date, alongside new open-world gameplay, a story trailer, system requirements, developer insiders, music, and more.
The upcoming dark fantasy RPG first turned heads back in January 2025 with a cinematic trailer, and a subsequent 20-minute gameplay reveal drew comparisons to The Witcher with parkour. Now, Rebel Wolves is gearing up to deliver the full picture.

A world split between day and night
Blood of Dawnwalker casts players as a Dawnwalker, a cursed soul caught between the world of day and the realm of night. Set in 14th-century Europe, you’ll be human by day and vampire by night, fighting to preserve your humanity while wielding supernatural powers to rescue your family from a dire fate.
The game features two distinct gameplay loops, each shaped by the time of day, with different abilities and approaches at your disposal depending on which form you inhabit. Crucially, time doesn’t stand still; every quest you take moves the clock forward, which means every decision carries real weight.
The open world promises serious variety too, spanning lush forests, vast plains, treacherous swamps, steep mountain peaks, and medieval settlements. It’s an ambitious scope for a debut title from a studio of former CD Projekt Red veterans.
