Forza Horizon 6 is locked and loaded. Playground Games has confirmed the upcoming racer has officially gone gold, meaning the final build is done and dusted, with two weeks still to spare before launch.
For the uninitiated, a game going gold signals that development is complete and the product is ready for mass production. It’s a significant milestone, and hitting it this far out gives Playground a comfortable runway before release day.
Nine stations, biggest soundtrack yet
Alongside the gold announcement, the studio revealed that FH6 will feature the largest music catalogue in the series’ history, spread across nine radio stations:
- Horizon Pulse
- Horizon Bass Arena
- Horizon Block Party
- Horizon XS
- Hospital Records
- Gacha City Radio
- Sub Pop Records
- Horizon Wave
- Horizon Opus
Genres span electronic, drum & bass, electropop, rock, indie, hip-hop, synthwave, and modern classical, something for every kind of driver.

Forza Horizon 6 accessibility gets a major push
Playground has also detailed a strong accessibility offering. AutoDrive, Proximity Radar, and a high-contrast mode join returning staples like full controller remapping, colour-blind filters, screen narration, and adjustable difficulty assists.
Post-launch, ASL and BSL support for cinematics will be added via a picture-in-picture narrator, a thoughtful addition that feels genuinely meaningful.

Forza Horizon 6 is shaping up well. The countdown is nearly over.
