Razer has launched the Naga V3 Pro, a new wireless gaming mouse designed mainly for MMO players but flexible enough for MOBAs, battle royale games, FPS titles, and everyday use.

The new Naga V3 Pro keeps the familiar shape of the series but adds a much more flexible control system. Its biggest feature is the three magnetic side panels that can be swapped in seconds without any tools. Players can choose a 12-button layout for MMO games, a 6-button layout for MOBAs and battle royale games, or a simpler 2-button layout for FPS gaming and regular desktop use.

Razer has also brought back the ring finger button that was removed from the Naga V2 Pro. This time, the button can be locked to avoid accidental clicks. Two additional buttons near the left mouse button can also be assigned to different functions, including quick DPI changes.
The mouse can store up to five profiles in its onboard memory, allowing users to save different button layouts, macros, and DPI settings for different games.

Better scrolling, performance and battery life
The Naga V3 Pro comes with Razer’s HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2. It offers a standard 24-step tactile mode, a more precise 48-step mode, a fast free-spin mode, and Smart-Reel, which can automatically switch between scrolling styles.

For tracking, Razer has added its Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3. It supports up to 50,000 DPI, 930 IPS tracking, and 90 G acceleration. The mouse also uses Frame Sync technology to improve the timing between sensor scanning and display updates.
Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4 handle the main clicks and are rated for more than 100 million clicks. Razer says the new switches also need 12% less force to activate.
Battery life is another strong point. Razer claims up to 155 hours when using HyperSpeed Wireless and up to 280 hours over Bluetooth. The mouse can also be used through USB Type-C while charging. Wireless charging is supported through the separately sold HyperFlux V2 Charging System and Mouse Dock Pro.
With its interchangeable side panels, improved sensor, long battery life, and wider range of controls, the Naga V3 Pro is a more versatile version of Razer’s long-running MMO mouse. It should appeal to players who want one mouse that can handle several different game genres.
