Mchose has launched the MCHOSE ACE75, a new Hall Effect gaming keyboard that combines a compact 75% layout with features designed for fast-paced gaming. The keyboard is now available through Kickstarter, starting at $109, while its planned MSRP is $149.
The keyboard is built for both gaming and everyday use. It includes adjustable actuation, Rapid Trigger, DKS, MT, and SOCD, along with an 8 kHz polling rate. Mchose claims the keyboard can deliver latency as low as 0.08 ms.
MCHOSE ACE75 comes with four color options
The MCHOSE ACE75 uses a 75% layout with a dedicated function row and arrow keys. This gives users a familiar keyboard layout while taking up less space on a desk.
Mchose has not officially confirmed the case material, but the Kickstarter images appear to show an aluminum case. The case colors are designed to match the keycaps.
There are four color options available: Moon Rock Grey, Mecha Green, Navy Blue, and Midnight Purple.
The Moon Rock Grey version comes with Berserker Magnetic Switches and opaque PBT keycaps. The Mecha Green, Navy Blue, and Midnight Purple versions use TTC Royal Steed switches and translucent polycarbonate keycaps.
Hall Effect features target gamers
The MCHOSE ACE75 uses magnetic switches that support several gaming-focused features. Users can adjust the actuation point and enable functions such as Rapid Trigger, DKS, MT, and SOCD.
These features are designed to give players more control over how the keys respond. Rapid Trigger can be particularly useful in games that require quick and repeated key presses.
Mchose has also added a button on the left side of the keyboard. It can switch between up to three profiles, allowing users to change settings or disable some gaming features when using the keyboard for normal typing.
RGB lighting and rotary knob included
The keyboard features south-facing per-key RGB lighting, along with an additional RGB strip placed between the function row and the main key area.
A rotary knob is also built into the edge of the keyboard. Users can customize its function through the Mchose Hub web driver software.
The keyboard supports an 8 kHz polling rate, while Mchose claims latency as low as 0.08 ms. Actual performance can vary depending on the computer, connection, and software settings.
MCHOSE ACE75 price and availability
The MCHOSE ACE75 is currently being offered on Kickstarter with prices starting at $109. Mchose says the keyboard will have an MSRP of $149 after the Kickstarter campaign.
